Found this in another Uplay problem thread: go to x86 program files, find uplay, right click and select restore previous savd.

I just found out in another thread gmae users have been banned for discussing the details of how to trade save games in Sssassins. It’s considered an exploit. I didn’t even think about it, but a lot of the unlockables are tied into each individuals’ accounts, so because Ubi didn’t bother to assassins creed black flag pc save game the unlockables on their side of the equation and left the data in the save files, we can’t do that.

I had given up until I started using the companion app for iOS for shtz and giggles, when i noticed, upon linking it to my uplay account, that all of my old ships and fleet stuff were available through the fleet management minigame in the app.
