Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a first-person shooter set in the distant future. Exploring vast locations, you can board a variety of combat vehicles. Third-person perspective changes as you ride. Plot tells the story of the war between the Earthlings and the Covenants, an alien alliance. The events of Halo are set on the space mega-structure Halo, and the main character is a super-soldier spartan Master Chief.

The re-release allows you to switch between classic and updated graphics. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary collectible items in the form of skulls.
